Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry has been playing his music for over forty years. He has played in festivals and in clubs all over the US and Internationally. Bill and his band won first place in the 2005 Blues Challenge presented by the Indianola Blues Society of Indianola Mississippi and represented Indianola at the 22nd Annual International Blues Challenge. Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry began his highly eventful career in the early 1960's playing gospel and then blues. He has worked with Freddy King, Little Milton, T-Bone Walker, Johnnie Taylor, Ted Taylor, Chuck Berry, Fontella Bass, Cash McCall and many others. He worked for Phil Chess as a studio musician and for Stan Lewis where he wrote for Jewel Paula Records. He worked with Chess Studios until the labels demise. Howl-N-Madd was in the movie thriller “Way Of War” starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. His album called Way Of Blues reached #2 at Radio Blues Intense in France. He was also in an episode of The Gene Simmons Family Jewels where he played the devil at the crossroads. Howl-N-Madd's latest, The Clarksdale Sessions, has been featured on radio/internet stations and syndicated across the United States and internationally. Shy Perry, singer, songwriter, and recording artist, has been performing professionally with her father, Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry, for 21 years and she now has a new CD that is playing across the USA and internationally. The CD titled SHY is playing on radio/internet stations and syndicated across the United States, including Canada, Australia, Philippines, Belgium, Germany and many other countries. Howl-N-Madd and Shy Perry were the headline act for "An Evening With The Blues" festival in Bolzano, Italy. Shy has been on several television shows and featured on 60 minutes as well as local news stations.  Shy was part of the Flaming Lips success in making it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most performances in one day. According to AceShowBiz, The Flaming Lips tour became the most-viewed digital driven event from Viacom Music & Logo with more than 43 million viewers. Shy, along with her father Howl-N-Madd, were viewed by millions as they performed on the Flaming Lips tour bus from Clarksdale to Oxford, MS. The Perry's were featured on the Blessissippi Bluesical at Ground Zero Blues Club hosted by Morgan Freeman and explore.org.  The 3 hour event, with over 30 acts, was simulcasted online via explore.org, XM Radio's Bluesville channel and Link TV available on DirecTV and Dish Network.  She has showcased her vocals on Cookin It Wyld Style with her father, Howl-N-Madd, and host Larry Levine.
Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry and Shy are a father/daughter team that has a fun, live energetic show. They have taken their music and the blues across America and Internationally to sold out shows. Howl-N-Madd is considered a blues legend and his music and talent shows it. The CD “Shy” is evidence of Shy Perry’s talent as a songwriter and performer.
